Do I have to be present during Sale registration in India?
The presence of the seller or a designated Power of Attorney (POA) holder is required to facilitate the sale registration process in India. The POA holder acts on behalf of the seller to execute the transaction.
What are the service fees?
The service fee is 2% of the sale value if the Buyer is referred by Housewise, and 1% of the sale value if the Buyer is referred by the property owner (with applicable GST). A fixed non-refundable advance of Rs. 10,000 is required, with the balance payable at the time of the Sale Deed.
What will be the duration of the Sale Service Agreement?
The Sale Service Agreement is valid for a period of one year.
What documents are necessary for property sale in India?
The basic documents needed for property sale in India include Sale Agreement, Occupancy Certificate, Society Registration Certificate, Share Certificate, and the Latest Property Tax Receipt. Please note that this list may vary depending on factors such as existing bank loans on the property or changes in ownership status due to events like death of a property holder etc.
