
How to pay Property Tax in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad is one of the fastest growing cities in India. There is a development in infrastructural facilities over the years. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has played a major role in the infrastructural development. It collects Property Tax from the property owners and uses it for the activities like road development, drainage and sewage treatment, etc. The process for payment of property tax is given below:
Online process
STEP 1: Visit the site https://ahmedabadcity.gov.in/portal/index.jsp |
STEP 2: Select Online services > Online services without login > Tax department > pay property tax |
STEP 3: Enter the tenement number and then click on search.. NOTE: If you don’t know your Tenement number, you can refer to the previous property tax bill. The tenement number is mentioned in the bill. |
STEP 4: You will be redirected to the bill where the following details are mentioned: a) Property address b) Property owner’s name c) Amount of property tax outstanding |
STEP 5: Enter your Email ID and mobile number |
STEP 6: Click on “Proceed for payment”. |
STEP 7: It’ll show you details of the amount & owner’s name. Click on “confirm payment”. |
STEP 8: A reference number is displayed on the screen. Save this number for future reference. |
STEP 9: Select the payment gateway, enter the card details (If payment is made through card) and make payment. |
STEP 10: You will receive an acknowledgment receipt on the registered mobile number and Email ID. |
