How it Works?

If you don’t have a draft, you can download a template from “here” and create your own draft. Only 11 months or less are allowed in the online rent agreement.

If you are not able to create the draft, contact us via our website, email, call/WhatsApp and send us the following details –

b) Name of Tenant
c) Address of owner
d) Address of tenant

f) Monthly Rent
g) Refundable security deposit
h) Agreement start date and duration
i) Owner’s witness details

Step 03
Housewise confirms the receipt of all details and readiness to start the online rent agreement.
Step 04
The owner then makes the payment of the fees online.
Step 05
Housewise prepares the rent agreement on e-Stamp paper and sends the rent agreement to the owner, tenant, and witness for an online signature.
Step 06
Property Owner, tenant, witnesses e-sign via the process explained in an email.
Step 07
Once the online rent agreement is e-signed by all parties, the e-signed agreement as well as the certificate of signing with complete blockchain is shared with both the owner and the tenant.

- Rs 500 plus stamp paper value with NO assistance in drafting the agreement.
For Maharashtra, charges are variable for every customer as the process is not 100% online.

How much time does it take for the complete online rent agreement process?
Once you send the final draft agreement, Housewise will send the agreement for Digital Signature the same day. As soon as all the parties sign digitally, you will receive the agreement as well as the certificate of signature.
What is the value of the certificate of signature?
Certificate gives irrefutable evidence of signing. Every signature records the Timestamp, the IP address, the device type, the browser version, latitude, and longitude. Each step of the process is stored on Blockchain.
How secure is the whole online rent agreement process?
